A Trade Mark is represented by the symbols – TM, SM and ®. Here all three have different meanings and usage:
- ™ is used for an unregistered trade mark. This means that TM can be used to promote or brand goods.
- ℠ is used for an unregistered service mark. This means that SM can be used to promote or brand services.
- ® is used for a registered Trade Mark.
